Sunday 15 March White Room Gallery, Stanley This was such a special gig ... felt like a last taste of 'normal' before the Covid-19 lockdown Friday 13 March Hexham Village Ceilidh The ceilidh was cancelled due to impending lockdown .... such a sense of impending doom .... but we had turned up so we sang for the remaining musicians and for the audience who had turned up. 19 December Windows Arcade, Newcastle 16 December Dun Cow Acoustic Club, Bournmoor, Houghton-le-Spring 7 December Maggie's Centre, Newcastle - Christmas Fayre Sunday 20 October Storiella were at The Globe in Newcastle supporting Joysome at the Launch Night for their new album 'Bound for Glory' - what a great night! Friday 13 September Storiella were delighted to support eight-piece folk band Axum for a fundraiser concert at Jesmond Library and lots of fun doing a song together! Monday 20 May Storiella are delighted to be back at the Smiths Arms Folk & Acoustic club doing a 'hotspot' .... there are lots of spaces for floor singers too so please come along to this great little venue (just 5 mns drive from the A167 at Chester-le-Street). Thursday 28 February We were delighted to return to the wonderful Staiths Cafe Acoustic Circus live music session, hosted by Simma. A great night, warm welcome and fab food! 2018 Saturday 29 December We sang in the Windows arcade collecting for Maggie's Centre Newcastle. Almost £50 was raised ... many thanks to all you generous passers-by! Sunday 16 December Storiella did a few songs for the Heaton Voices Christmas party - a lovely welcome and a great atmosphere. Thursday 25 October We're doing a spot at the wonderful Staiths Cafe live music session hosted by the intriguing Simma. If you're coming to see us please book a table - you can do this via the website or call 0191 4606921. Saturday 6 October Storiella were honoured to join Whickham Wind band for a fundraiser concert at Fellside Church in aid of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. The event was sold out and the total raised for the RNLI was over £700. Many thanks for being a wonderful audience and for your generosity; big thanks also to Whickham Wind for inviting us to join you. Wednesday 27 June Cramlington Folk Club - a lovely warm welcome and we hope to visit again some time! Friday 29 June Fundraiser concert in Heaton .... we were delighted to be sharing the bill with Heaton Voices, Frères Frangipane, and Tim Dalling! 2017 Monday 11 December Singers's Night at the lovely Smith's Arms folk club, near Lumley Castle Friday 1 December Open Mic night at Scarth Hall, Staindrop - one of our favourite open mic venues and we even squeezed in a couple of festive numbers! Friday 3 November We had a swimmingly good time singing at the National Museum of the Royal Navy in Hartlepool, in the atmospheric Quayside Cafe. The event was part of the Museum's celebrations for Trafalgar Night and Pickle Night. We were delighted to have The Silver Shantymen sharing the bill and they were on truly fine form. Meantime and Storiella had a great time performing in a Phoenix Folk summer concert at Ouseburn Farm - it was lovely to meet Meantime and share our songs. Friday 4 August
Scarth Memorial Hall, Staindrop Storiella did a few songs at this monthly open mic - great variety of music and lovely welcoming atmosphere. Saturday 22 July
Storiella were delighted to sing at the Prohibition Cabaret Bar as part of the SummerTyne fringe festival, with brilliant support (and use of PA!) from the Byker Hillbillies. The audience were brilliant, as were the lovely Prohibition staff .... can we come back and sing for you again soon please? Saturday 1 July
Storiella sang as guests of the excellent Sage Gateshead Chamber Choir at their Summer Choral Concert at St Mary's Church, Whickham. We even managed to sneak our own Purcell number (Cakes and Ale) into the choir's Purcell set, and there was a lovely traditional song to end the whole concert - the Keel Row with audience joining in beautifully. Storiella performed at The Globe, Railway Street, Newcastle on a fab triple bill with Euphoria, and The Silver Shantymen. Thanks to the staff at The Globe for making us so welcome and taking care of the PA (for three very different groups!) Friday 10 March
Fundraiser event at Bertram's Cafe Warkworth in aid of North Northumberland Hospice Care - Storiella sang while the guests were arriving, and between the main course and dessert! This was a really lovely event with money raised for a great cause. 2016

Phoenix Folk Club, Ouseburn Farm Storiella were delighted to be the guest act for Phoenix Folk's 'First Friday' April event. There were some excellent and varied floor spots, a friendly atmosphere .... all beautifully punctuated with sound-effects from the cool urban sheep outside. It was lovely to see some people there from Cestria Folk & Acoustic - thanks for making the trip into the Toon! Saturday 19 March
People's Theatre, Heaton This was the 16th anniversary concert of our fantastic community choir, Heaton Voices, and Storiella did a guest spot. We were honoured to be on the bill alongside not only Heaton Voices, but a stellar folk band line-up consisting of Tim Dalling, Pete Challoner, Sophy Ball, Andy Seagroatt and Roger Peppe. Disaster almost struck, due to Teresa having been unwell for a few days before the concert, desperately hoping to feel well enough to sing with Storiella on the night but sadly, this was not to be. But ..... Gill and Helen pulled together fabulous 'duo' versions of some of our songs .... and did Storiella proud! Friday 11 March

Shipley Art Gallery Storiella were delighted to be part of 'Take your Seats' - an all-day event organised by Northumbria University. Our part in this excellent and thought-provoking event was to do a couple of open rehearsals... sitting around and singing! Thanks for coming to see us. 201528 November 2015
